Meet Junior Designer Erik

Meet Erik, who joined our team as a Junior Designer this summer. We already appreciate his creativity and valuable input to the team!

If you weren’t a Designer, what would you be doing?

I’d like to think I’d be hosting HGTV’s House Hunters.

Favorite part about working at a design agency?

I really enjoy the collaboration that comes with working on a team and bouncing ideas off one another each step of the way. Also, being around a group of people that understand the struggle of not being able to decide between 20 different shades of blue is always oddly comforting.

Tell us one thing we wouldn’t know about you otherwise?

I follow the Olympics religiously. I love everything about them and in eighth grade when Chicago was bidding, I made my entire English class stop and watch the announcement. It was a little awkward when we then lost in the first round to say the least.

Favorite hangout when not at UpShift?

If I’m not in bed, at the lake, or with friends, I’m probably on the couch.
