UpShift Creative Group’s brochure for the Mid-America Real Estate Urban brand was selected as a winner at The Society of Typographic Arts’ STA 100. Since 1978, this juried show has honored the previous year’s best 100 examples of communication design that utilize innovative typography and design elements. 2016 marks the first year the competition went international.
The tabloid-sized brochure, designed by SAIC Visual Communication Design Adjunct Faculty Richard Shanks, SAIC alumnus Nick Staal, and Kathy Vanderjack, was selected from over 400 entries. Using bold type and elegant imagery, this design has the perfect amount of edge and positions Mid-America as experts in the urban properties market.
