SS UpShift sets sail, again!

The hearty crew of the SS UpShift isn’t afraid of a little rain. A lot of rain, however, is a whole different story. As the crew at UpShift set off for its second annual voyage down the mighty Chicago River, the rain was non-existent. “Looks like the rain will hold out,” the dock hand said. Fast forward 20 minutes and the entire crew was soaking wet. It didn’t dampen our spirits—although the beer got a little watery. We made do with flimsy umbrellas, good conversation, and a warm meal afterwards. Rest assured, the SS UpShift eventually made it safely back to port—just like the SS Minnow.
