Upscale multifamily for Yale students and YoPros
UpShift was tasked with developing a sophisticated brand that appeals to Young Professionals and upper-level students alike, given its location in New Haven, CT, near the Yale campus.
We crafted the Olive & Wooster brand, which included naming, brand identity, website, marketing collateral, and signage. Our work contributed to record-fast lease-ups and high rents, as this was one of the few highly-amenitized, upscale rental options near bustling tech jobs and campus.
We worked to create a brand that combined the timeless sophistication of New Haven, with a fresh, youthful feel that would speak well to the demographic. A refined wordmark logo was created, paired with a secondary logo icon that can be used across signage and other marketing materials. Additional graphic elements like a dynamic angled pattern and plaid texture, along with rich, warm photography, helped the brand feel cohesive and elevated.
The brand was carried across a variety of stationery items for the leasing team to use, as well as individual floor plan sheets for prospective residents.
A printed brochure was designed to highlight the incredible location, amenities, and quality design of the property. In a market where most advertising is done digitally, a quality, economical print piece like this often makes a strong lasting impression on prospects and helps further showcase the brand.
We worked with the client to ensure the custom brand was carried across the web design effectively through color, messaging, and imagery.
Signage was designed to help introduce the brand in the community.
